Downtown Sausalito – Tracy Way, Bridgeway, Gabrielson Park & Waterfront

Dogs by the Bay is a joyful, dog-friendly celebration in downtown Sausalito bringing together residents, visitors, local businesses, and animal-welfare organizations for a day dedicated to our four-legged friends.

The festivities begin with the Waterfront Dog Parade from Trident to Gabrielson Park at 10:30 AM, followed by a lively Dog Costume Contest at 11:30 AM. Bring your best-dressed pup and join the fun as Sausalito’s creative spirit takes center stage along the waterfront.

Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy live music in Gabrielson Park at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, explore dog-centric vendors along Tracy Way, and connect with local charities and community partners. Special activities include meeting Dr. Michael Kent of UC Davis Weill School of Veterinary Medicine adoptable dogs with Love’s Legacy Rescue, Guide Dogs for the Blind training demonstration, Pet Portrait Photography**, and Kids Dog Art Day at P.A.I.N.T. Art Collective.

🐾 Plus: All month long, join the Dog Passport Program*. Pick up a passport at participating shops and restaurants, collect stamps as you visit locations, and unlock special offers and discounts along the way. Completed passports may be returned by April 24 at Casa Madrona Hotel, or on event day at the Main Stage by 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, to be entered into the event raffle drawing.
