Community gathers for ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating improved access, safety, and waterfront enhancements
September 5, 2025 – The Sausalito waterfront came alive Friday morning as community members, local leaders, and officials gathered to celebrate the completion of the Sausalito Ferry Landing Improvement Project.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony brought together current and former City Council members, regional representatives, and residents to officially unveil the redesigned Ferry Plaza — a project years in the making that enhances both the functionality and beauty of one of Sausalito’s most important transportation hubs.
