    Sausalito Santa's Shopping List
    – Support Your Local Merchants!

    By Cheryl Popp

Once again, I am offering my personal shopping services as Santa’s Sausalito Shopping maven. There truly is something for everyone on that list (whether naughty or nice!) in the shops and boutiques of Sausalito.  Before you head to the dreadfully crowded, frantic and frenzied malls, think about taking advantage of the three-hours of free parking at every Sausalito parking meter and do your holiday shopping local.

Supporting your local merchants, supports your town – they generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in tax revenues that in turn help underwrite the cost of our parks, public safety services, library and other important services that keep our city special.  Truth be known, if we don’t support our small boutiques they’ll disappear as many have. No one wants big box stores, so support our local retailers; keep them alive and well.

There are treasures to be found. And all the sales benefit the library. The shop is run by volunteers and is open Mondays 9 AM- 5 PM, Wednesdays 10AM – 1PM and Saturdays 10 AM – 1 PM. I love this place.
