Sausalito Chili Cook-off
The City of Sausalito will host its 42nd Chili Cook-off in Dunphy Park on Saturday, September 18. The event features all the chili you can eat for $15, plus live music from Tom Rigney and Flambeau. The hours are 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event and may also be purchased online.
It's not too late to form a team and participate as a chef. There is no cost to enter the cook-off, but teams will need to make at least 15 gallons of chili, and cooking must be done on-site. Chefs compete in three contest categories: Judges' Choice, People's Choice, and Best Booth.
