Opening Day on the Bay 2026 aboard Schooner Freda B
Opening Day is an annual celebration of the maritime community on San Francisco Bay, dating back to 1917. Local sailors festoon their vessels and come together for various traditions, including the blessing of the fleet and parade along the San Francisco waterfront.
Join us aboard Schooner Freda B for all the festivities! Our signature Gourmet Picnic Lunch is included in the ticket price.
Schooner Freda B is a sea kind 80' gaff rigged coastal schooner, making her one of the San Francisco Bay's most comfortable and traditional vessels to sail. Experience the romance of yesteryear with a local, licensed captain and professional crew.
