DESCRIPTION:It's Sausalito Community Boating Center (SCBC)'s 13th Annual Herring Festival! \n\nApril 3\, 2026\n\n6-8:30pm\n\nSausalito Portuguese Cultural Center's IDESST Hall (511 Caledonia Street)\n\nThis year's 'Grateful Bay' Herring Festival dinner is putting the fun in fundraiser and the weir (a fishing tool) in Bob Weir (recently passed Grateful Dead legend).\n\nHighlights of 2026's 'Grateful Bay' SCBC HerringFest Fundraiser:\n\n\n	\n	Delicious lineup of 'herring and friends' dishes prepared by local culinary talents\n	\n	\n	Tamaloha\, a beloved Marin County band\, bringing a few Grateful Dead tunes to celebrate Bob Weir\, the recently passed legend\, and other easy background music\n	\n	\n	Silent auction featuring unique items and experiences - bid in person or online ahead of the event\n	\n	\n	Art station: a little tie-dye never hurt!\n	\n	\n	Bar featuring Fort Point beers\, signature and classic cocktails\, a great wine lineup\, N/A cocktails\, and the basics\n	\n	\n	Networking with community members and supporters\n	\n\n\nThroughout the evening\, we'll share updates on what's going on with SCBC and how your monies are being used\, especially with scholarship-supported youth sailing camps this summer.\n\nAll ticket sales\, proceeds\, and donations support SCBC's mission to provide resources for community boating\, education\, and public dock access.
