DESCRIPTION:42nd Annual Sea Trek Regatta\n\nCome join us on Saturday\, October 19\, 2024 for the most fun sea kayaking event of the year.\n\n\n\nThe annual Sea Trek Regatta is a chance for the Bay Area paddling community to share in a fun and challenging day paddling on the San Francisco Bay.\n\n\n\nRegistration: https://tinyurl.com/4uj2pt4e\n\n\n\nSCHEDULE\n\n\n\n*Friday\, October 18th*\n\n3:30 pm- 6 pm - Early Racer check-in - \n\nCome get your bib\, t-shirt\, drink and lunch tickets.\n\n \n\n \n\n*Saturday\, October 19th*\n\n*Race Day Schedule*\n\n6:30 am - 8:00 am Boat / Board drop off - \n\nAT THE BAY MODEL -  SEA TREK RENTALS\, SINGLES\, SUP AND PRONE BOARDS\n\nAT SCHOONMAKER BEACH - DOUBLES\, ETC BOATS AND OUTRIGGERS\n\nAll Parking at 30 Liberty Ship Way. PLEASE!!!\n\n7 am - 8:15 am Racer Check-in - Bay Model\n\n\n	\n	You will get your lunch and drink ticket\,  event t-shirt and racer number.\n	\n\n\n8:00 am - 8:15 am Tides and Currents at Bay Model\n\n8:15 am - 9:00 am Skippers Meeting at Bay Model - Mandatory\n\n9:00 am - 10:00 am Get on the Water!\n\nRace Starts at 10:15 sharp - All Categories and All Courses\n\n11:30- 1:45 pm  Lunch by two food Trucks from Off The Grid\n\n1:30 pm - 2:30 pm - Awards\n\n \n\n\n\nSafety on the water\n \n\n\n	\n	All racers are required to wear a PFD. No exceptions.\n	\n	\n	All Stand Up Paddle boarders are required to wear a leash. No exceptions.\n	\n	\n	We will have a solid set of safety boats on the water during the event monitoring VHF Channel 68.\n	\n	\n	Remember the spirit of the Regatta while on the water\, if you see someone in need stop and help them. We are responsible for each others' safety on the water.\n\n	\n\n	The start line will be in the same historical spot\, marked by two Buoys anchored in the middle of Richardson Bay.\n\n	The finish line will be marked by two Buoys anchored next to the Matthew Turner Tall Ship (at Sea Trek). This will be set up before the race starts so that you can see where the timers and finish line are located.\n\n	The Food is included in your race fees. Extra lunch tickets can be purchased for $15/ person.
