    Event Description:
    Join us as we hear Bill Fraass speak about Sausalito's Business Preparedness in times of disaster, and learn more about what you can do to prepare your business!

    Bill Fraass has been with the Sausalito Police Department since May 21, 1996.  He is currently a Lieutenant assigned as the Operations Division Commander where he oversees patrol, specialty units, and emergency operations/disaster preparedness programs.  Bill is the recipient of the Sausalito Police Department's Blue Star and Life Saving Medals, American Police Hall of Fame's Silver Star for Bravery, the Marin County Police Officer's Award for Heroic Action, and several other awards/commendations.  He holds an Associates of Science Degree in Administration of Justice, a Bachelor's Degree in Vocational Education as it relates to Emergency Services, and a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice with a Specialization in Law Enforcement Management as well as Terrorism/Homeland Security.    Bill's father, deceased uncle, and wife have also all served with the Sausalito Police Department.  His family has a total of 100 years of law enforcement experience.
