Elaine Gentile paints in her studio at the Industrial Center Building in Sausalito. She creates landscapes on location, still lifes, and abstracts. Marin County offers her inspiration from the views of Mt. Tamalpais to the rolling hills of Western Marin which resemble her birthplace on a farm in upstate New York. Elaine's still life paintings of flowers, fruits and vegetables offer a warm feeling of serenity and they are vibrant with bold color contrasts. Her abstracts focus on the balance in life with moving energy and stillness where one may rest.
