Doug Eng, President
Doug spent the past 20 years in the corporate world as the Director of Human Resources for various companies, but was drawn to what he loves to do most; cook and entertain. Having travelled extensively and being exposed to local cuisines, he founded ITK Culinary with a vision to share his experiences and provide a platform for customers to learn how to prepare outrageously good food. |

Chris Gallagher, Immediate Past President
Chris has been in federal service for over 24 yrs. Her career started with the National Park Service before moving to the Forest Service and then bringing her to the Bay Model to work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. She has served as their manager since 2001. Chris is active in the Sausalito community serving as President of the Rotary Club, Founder & Past President of the Volunteers in Public Safety (VIPS) and on the Tour of CA local organizing committee. Chris also serves on several non-profit boards in Marin that include YMCA, Salvation Army, and Marin Literacy. Her true love is walking the dogs at the Marin Humane Society on the weekends. Chris grew up on the East Coast in Maryland and graduated from Dominican University in San Rafael. |

Susan Roe, President Elect
Professionally, Susan is the Director of Professional Development for the Gordon & Rees law firm but Community Servant best describes her. She was the recipient of the Spirit of Marin Award in 2008 and is currently President of the Sausalito Lion's Club member and the President of the Sausalito Sister City Program. She is also a member of the Sausalito Women's Club and the Sausalito Yacht Club. Susan was appointed to the America-Japan Bay Area 20th Grassroots Summit which was held in the Bay Area in August, 2010. 2011 President, Sausalito Lions Club |

Joseph Lemon, Treasurer
Joe grew up in Sausalito, and is thrilled to still be living and working here as the Project Manager for Sausalito Shipyard & Marina. He holds degrees from Brown University (A.B.), Stanford University (J.D.), and Oxford University (M.B.A.). Joe is a member of three other chambers of commerce, where his businesses have been recognized as the best among their peers. His prior experience includes venture capital/private equity financing, healthcare, hospitality, and real estate management. After law school, Joe served as a law clerk to the Hon. Richard R. Clifton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Joe's articles on law and business have been published by Stanford University, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Texas; and he has authored a guidebook published by the American Bar Association. Believing that a rising tide raises all ships, Joe joined the Chamber Board with the hope of helping to enhance the economic environment of Sausalito for the benefit of its businesses and residents alike. |

Deborah Royston, Secretary
Deborah was born and raised in Northern California and has been a Sausalito resident for 25 years. She has a degree in Social Welfare and worked in this field for 7 years. She then moved to corporate sales, where she has had an extremely successful career, for the past 20 years. Deborah is outgoing and gregarious person and is the life and soul of any party, so this makes her the ideal Co-Chair for our Monthly Member Mixers! |

Ann Arnott, Director
Ann Arnott has been active in the business, the artistic, and the social life of Sausalito for over 40 years. In the 70s, Ann and a partner opened the first restaurant on Caledonia Street. Also in the 70s, she was elected President of the Sausalito Woman’s Club, and was eventually elected “Honored Member” in recognition of “her long and outstanding service.” She was one of the earliest supporters of the Sausalito Art Festival -- and is currently President of the Art Festival Foundation. In 2005, Ann was elected to the Board of the Sausalito-Marin City Sanitary District. And for over 20 years, she has been a Member of the Sausalito Chamber, who honored her with a Lifetime Achievement Award in October 2008 and the Spirit of Marin Award in September 2009. |

Amy Clawson, Director
A life long California resident, having lived north and south all along the coast. She has called Marin County her home since 2003. Amy began her career in HR and Administration in the field of architecture and design. In 2003, She joined Butler, Shine, Stern and Partners in Sausalito. Since then, she has led the Human Resources and Operations department within the agency. She has been instrumental in helping to manage the agency’s growth, as BSSP has more than doubled in size since she joined. In addition to all staff matters including recruitment, Amy oversees benefits, general administration and the well being of our 160 employees. |

Kathleen McEwen, Director
A Washington state native and daughter of a Puget Sound tugboat captain, Kathleen has served in a variety of roles in the hospitality industry, managed federal grants at the University of Washington, and is currently the owner of Kate’s Blossoms, a Marin based floral design studio. Kathleen’s goal and joy in working with her clients, is helping them choose or send the ideal floral design, to suit the occasion, location, season, and recipient. She enjoys helping the residents of the Sausalito community with flowers in their homes, on their boats, and at their events. When not designing flowers, she enjoys attending Giants’ games, birdwatching, beachcombing, wine tasting, road trips, and cooking with family and friends. |

Lorna Newlin, Director
Lorna spent 20 years in the corporate world in the apparel industry. She is a long time resident and homeowner in Sausalito. During the summer of 2002 she followed her dream, left the corporate world, and opened her own studio—Sausalito Pottery. She joined the Chamber then, and has been an active member. Lorna has been creating pottery for over 25 years and loves that now she does it full time. She walks to her studio at the old MLK School on Coloma Street with her dog, Shadow. Lorna also teaches classes for adults and children at her studio and shares her joy in working in clay.

Marina O'Neill, Director
Marina O'Neill has owned and operated, her own business, SF Bay Adventures, with her partner, Paul Dines for 6 years. SF Bay Adventures is a charter boat business based in Sausalito, providing watercraft rental, charters, and tours in San Francisco Bay. |

Cheryl Popp, Director
A long-time resident and homeowner in Sausalito where she also operates a business, Cheryl has been active in the community for over 15 years. She has over 25 years of professional experience in marketing & communications and currently owns and operates her own public relations agency in Sausalito with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small start-ups, as well as municipalities such as the City of Sausalito where she has done a wide range of marketing, including media relations, event management, and the production of the City’s first promotional video. Cheryl is a third-generation native Californian, graduate of U.C. Berkeley, and avid athlete who loves to cook. |

Jim Zayac, Director
Jim Zayac is reasonably new to California, having moved here nearly six years ago from Washington, DC. His professional career has been spent primarily in senior store management for mid- to large volume department stores and for off-priced retailers. Jim’s also has worked in health club management and professional services recruiting. Jim has been involved with the Sausalito Chamber for almost four years and, during the past year, has been active in the Chamber’s Membership Committee. When the Health Club he managed was sold earlier in the year, Jim decided to continue his commitment to the Chamber and is now a Resident Member. His goal for this year is to develop the Business Education Program (BizEd) so that all members have access to the tools they need to grow and prosper. He is currently employed as a Manager for Pet Food Express. Jim was born and raised in New York. |
