Deborah Royston, Immediate Past President
Deborah is 2012 Sausalito Chamber President and is also in a senior sales role with Canon Business Solutions. Deborah was born and raised in Northern California and has been a Sausalito resident for 25 years. She has a degree in Social Welfare and worked in this field for 7 years. She then moved to corporate sales, where she has had an extremely successful career, for the past 20 years. Deborah served as Chamber Board President in 2012. |

Doug Eng, Director
Doug spent the past 20 years in the corporate world as the Director of Human Resources for various companies, but was drawn to what he loves to do most; cook and entertain. Having travelled extensively and being exposed to local cuisines, he founded ITK Culinary with a vision to share his experiences and provide a platform for customers to learn how to prepare outrageously good food. Doug served as Chamber Board President in 2011. |

Lorna Newlin, Treasurer
Lorna spent 20 years in the corporate world in the apparel industry. She is a long time resident and homeowner in Sausalito. During the summer of 2002 she followed her dream, left the corporate world, and opened her own studio—Sausalito Pottery. She joined the Chamber then, and has been an active member. Lorna has been creating pottery for over 25 years and loves that now she does it full time. She walks to her studio at the old MLK School on Coloma Street with her dog, Shadow. Lorna also teaches classes for adults and children at her studio and shares her joy in working in clay.

Chris Gallagher, Executive Committee Director at large
Chris has been in federal service for over 24 yrs. Her career started with the National Park Service before moving to the Forest Service and then bringing her to the Bay Model to work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. She has served as their manager since 2001. Chris is active in the Sausalito community serving as President of the Rotary Club, Founder & Past President of the Volunteers in Public Safety (VIPS) and on the Tour of CA local organizing committee. Chris also serves on several non-profit boards in Marin that include YMCA, Salvation Army, and Marin Literacy. Her true love is walking the dogs at the Marin Humane Society on the weekends. Chris grew up on the East Coast in Maryland and graduated from Dominican University in San Rafael. Chris served as Chamber Board President in 2010. |

Ann Arnott, Director
Ann Arnott has been active in the business, the artistic, and the social life of Sausalito for over 40 years. In the 70s, Ann and a partner opened the first restaurant on Caledonia Street. Also in the 70s, she was elected President of the Sausalito Woman’s Club, and was eventually elected “Honored Member” in recognition of “her long and outstanding service.” She was one of the earliest supporters of the Sausalito Art Festival -- and is currently President of the Art Festival Foundation. In 2005, Ann was elected to the Board of the Sausalito-Marin City Sanitary District. And for over 20 years, she has been a Member of the Sausalito Chamber, who honored her with a Lifetime Achievement Award in October 2008 and the Spirit of Marin Award in September 2009. |

Tom Campagna, Director
Tom has been an active real estate broker for more than 30 years. Throughout his career, Tom has been involved in residential, investment, development and property management. Tom has listed and sold hundreds of properties in California, has served in the boards of local, regional, and state professional trade associations, and has served his community as a member of the Planning Commission and President of the Chamber of Commerce. In 1967-69, Tom worked as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in the remote Sierra Madre mountain ranges of Panama. There he worked with the local villagers to establish six cooperatives. All six are still operational today. Tom served as Chamber Board President in 2008. |

Marina O'Neill, Director
Marina O'Neill has owned and operated, her own business, SF Bay Adventures, with her partner, Paul Dines for 6 years. SF Bay Adventures is a charter boat business based in Sausalito, providing watercraft rental, charters, and tours in San Francisco Bay. |

Cheryl Popp, Director
A long-time resident and homeowner in Sausalito where she also operates a business, Cheryl has been active in the community for over 15 years. She has over 25 years of professional experience in marketing & communications and currently owns and operates her own public relations agency in Sausalito with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small start-ups, as well as municipalities such as the City of Sausalito where she has done a wide range of marketing, including media relations, event management, and the production of the City’s first promotional video. Cheryl is a third-generation native Californian, graduate of U.C. Berkeley, and avid athlete who loves to cook. Cheryl served as President of the Chamber Board in 2009. |

Susan Roe, Director
Professionally, Susan is the Chief Marketing director at Hanson Law Firm in San Francisco. She is a Sausalito Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and is also President of Three Sister Cities, Vina del Mar, Chile, Sakaide, Japan and Cascias, Portugal. Susan is currently a member of the Sausalito Lion's Club, the Sausalito Women's Club and the Sausalito Yacht Club. Susan served as a Sausalito Parks & Recreation Commissioner for 8 years and plays an active role in community events. She worked with the Amgen bike race team and have been a contributor to Sausalito Jazz and Blues by the bay for many years. In recognition of all her long term dedication and service to the Sausalito community, Susan was a recipient of the Spirit of Marin Award in 2008. |

Jeff Scharosch, Director
Jeff has been actively involved in the Hospitality restaurant business for over 20 years with the past 15 years being in Sausalito as a general manager of the Spinnaker Restaurant. Additionally he is an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco Hospitality Industry Management Program. Jeff’s local community involvement includes being co –chair of the Amgen Tour of California, Appointed Member of the Business Advisory Committee, Hospitality Committee and a Past President of the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce. |

Joseph Smith, Director
Joseph has been teaching massage therapy since 1976 in Mill Valley, and opened F. Joseph Smith Massage Therapy Center with 5 of his students in 1981. He employs 22 massage therapists, an acupuncturist, an esthetician, and also maintains a metaphysical rock shop within the Center. Joseph has been involved with the Mill Valley and the Sausalito Chambers of Commerce for over 20 years. |
